A HORSE-drawn hearse carried crash victim Karly Heweson’s coffin to her Devizes funeral.
Friends and family packed St John’s Church, as they celebrated the mum-of-one's life.
Karly, 21, died on August 27, when the Seat Ibiza car in which she was a passenger crashed off Prison Bridge, Devizes.
At her funeral, the Rev Canon Paul Richardson spoke of the shock and sadness felt by everyone who knew Karly. There was laughter in the church at his mention of Karly’s love of takeaways and refusal to walk anywhere.
The woman’s brother Robbie and friend Ella bravely remembered a girl who meant everything to them and always made their worlds a better place to be.
Her coffin, adorned with sunflowers spelling Mumma and Karly, was carried to Devizes Cemetery for a private burial service.
