ROBBERS are said to have stolen thousands of pounds-worth of mobile phones from a town centre store.

Wiltshire Police has appealed for information after Game, Regent Street, was targeted by three thieves in August.

The force said a man went into the store shortly before 6pm on Saturday, August 18. He asked to see a mobile phone from the display.

When the member of staff went to help the man, he was pulled to the floor by a second member of the gang.

A police spokeswoman said: "CCTV images are now available and we would like to speak to the men pictured in connection with this incident."

The two suspects and a third man who police believe was acting as a lookout near the front door to the computer game shop are alleged to have stolen over £3,000-worth of mobile phones.

Police said the member of staff assaulted during the robbery was unhurt.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or who can identify any of the men believed to have been involved should call Local Crime Investigator Isabelle Jenkins on 101, quoting crime reference 78115, or Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
