A STUDENT from Faringdon will star in a festive musical.

After auditioning for a part in Nativity! The Musical earlier this summer, Niamh Brady has been selected to play a key role in the show, which has been adapted from the popular film trilogy.

She will be one of the children at St Bernadette’s School who try to put on the best nativity ever.

This second UK tour of Nativity! The Musical kicks off in Coventry this October.

The young stars of the show, aged nine to 12-years-old were chosen from schools in the Midlands.

Niamh studies at the West Oxfordshire Academy of Performing Arts in Witney.

She will appear in the musical as part of its full cross-country tour at venues around the UK.in Glasgow, Nottingham, and Stoke on Trent.

Over Christmas, she will be onstage in Hammersmith, London.

She’s joining a glittering cast of West End stars, including the hugely popular Simon Lipkin, who returns as the excitable Mr Poppy.

Mr Lipkin is also set to star in the forthcoming Nativity Rocks – the fourth film in the Nativity! film series which is due for release in November.
