WET and windy weather which battered Swindon yesterday will be replaced by balmy temperatures and clear skies this afternoon.
After Storm Callum caused heavy rain and high winds throughout Friday, pulling down trees in some places, the weather looks set to improve briefly this afternoon.
Warm air brought up from Southern Europe could see temperatures reaching highs of 21 degrees in Swindon, according to the Met Office.
More heavy rain is forecast for much of Tuesday though, with temperatures sinking back down to more a more autumnal 11 degrees.
Storm Callum continues to bring high winds to Swindon this morning and is affecting other parts of the UK today.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for rain for much of Wales, areas in Scotland, and Devon.
