A man has been charged after assaulting a woman in Rodbourne.
The victim was assaulted while walking down Jennings Street, round the corner from the Designer Outlet Village.
She was taken to hospital and required treatment to her face and body.
A 45-year-old man from Rodbourne has been arrested and remanded in custody.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident which happened between 8pm and 10.30pm on Sunday October 7.
Det Con Jason Walsh said: "This is a busy residential area and it's likely that someone would have heard or seen something.
"If that was you, if you heard or saw this assault or noticed something suspicious between these times in this area please contact us."
