A TREAT for all Neil Diamond fans, tribute act Bob Drury is calling in at Swindon Arts Centre on Saturday with a new show.

When performing in Las Vegas two years ago Bob Drury was described “one of the world’s finest vocal tributes to Neil Diamond” and he’s now back touring the UK with Viva Neil Diamond, celebrating the legendary Neil singer and his incredible back catalogue of songs.

Bob Drury’s one-man show is is described as an absolute must-see, and his vocal likeness to the famous singer has been delighting audiences around the world.

This year’s show includes all the favourites such as Cracklin’ Rosie, America, Love on the Rocks, Play Me, Hello Again, Forever in Blue Jeans, Beautiful Noise, I’m a Believer, Red Red Wine and of course Sweet Caroline.

Neil Diamond, now 77, is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actor with a worldwide following.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a Jewish family and first started writing songs in his teens. He was singing and song-writing professionally by the 1960s and released the big hit and all time classic Sweet Caroline in 1969. In 1980 he starred in a remake of the film The Jazz Singer, bringing him new hits such as America, Love on the Rocks and Hello Again.

Diamond announced he was retiring from touring early this year, so enjoy the chance to listen the next best thing with Drury. In Saturday's show, look out for Diamond’s UK hit Pretty Amazing Grace, along with a few lesser known songs that are sure to become your favourites by the end of the evening.
