A TEEN accused of kicking a constable in the face will appear before magistrates on Monday.
Liam Phillips, 18, of Ruskin Avenue, has been charged with assaulting a police constable and remanded in custody to appear before Swindon Magistrates Court.
The assault is alleged to have taken place when police raided a home in Upper Stratton. Officers discovered cocaine, cannabis, drug dealing kit, an air pistol stashed in a child’s schoolbag and other weapons.
Two people have been invited to Gablecross Police Station to be interviewed in relation to the drugs find.
