CASH, weapons and drugs have been seized after police raided a home in Penhill.
Four teen boys, aged between 16 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs following Saturday night's raid. The youngsters were also arrested in connection with a fight that resulted in one young man being slashed with a knife in the Valley area of Penhill on Friday afternoon.
North Swindon Police posted a picture of their haul to Facebook, with the image showing what appeared to be well over £1,000 in cash, around a dozen crack cocaine “rocks” and cannabis.
Speaking in a video posted to social media, Sgt Richard Tottle called on members of the public to report concerns about drug dealing to the police: “We rely heavily on the support of the community. Please, if there’s anything you want us to do or if there’s anything you want us to action, call 101.”
On Sunday afternoon, armed officers and a dog unit were called to Penhill over reports of a gang of youths carrying weapons.
