THIEVES have stolen power tools from a van for the second time this week.
Royal Wootton Bassett community police said they received a report of power tools taken from a Ford Transit van in the Clarendon Drive area last night.
The goods were stolen sometime between 7pm on Wednesday October 31 and 6.50am on Thursday morning.
On Saturday morning thieves broken into a van parked in Blunsdon St Andrew and took tools worth around £5,000. Police released CCTV footage of the suspect of the first break-in. Although there is no suggestion yet that both are linked.
Police are issuing a warning to tradesmen and members of the public to be more vigilant.
Anyone who witnessed anything in relation to this is being asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and quote crime ref number *103380.
