A FESTIVE performance for youngsters is being put on at the Shoebox Theatre in the run-up to Christmas.
The Elves and the Shoemaker by Puppets4Peas is a reboot of a classic story about a shoemaker and his little helpers which will entertain little ones aged two or older.
The performance will be relaxed, with a welcoming environment, no loud noises and soft lighting throughout the show.
A spokesman for the Shoebox Theatre said: "It's a twinkly heart-warming show for Christmas, full of live music, shoes, dancing, shoes, audience participation, shoes, and amazing puppets."
Families can stay after the 50-minute show and play with the elves for 10 minutes.
The show will be performed on December 15, 16, then from December 20 to 23 at 11am and 1.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 each for adults and £6 for concessions and children under the age of 14.
