SPECIALIST nurses will be on hand to give out advice in Swindon at a charity event for World Diabetes Day on Wednesday.
Fundraisers behind the local diabetes charity Sabrina's Mile have organised for nurses and consultants from GWR to give out advice and will also help anyone concerned to get their body mass index tested.
They will be outside Buzz Gym with the clothing charity Dressability stationed behind the Brunel Shopping Centre.
There will also be a raffle to raise money for the charity which was set up by Louisa Moccia after her daughter Sabrina, from Swindon, died aged 33 from complications from diabetes.
