TRAFFIC officers have appealed for information after an 11-year-old girl was left with serious injuries in a crash in Upper Stratton.
The girl was hit by a silver Mercedes C180 at around 2pm on Meadowcroft, near the junction with Addison Crescent. The car was being driven by a local man, 26, police said.
The youngster was taken to hospital in Bristol.
Appealing for witnesses, PC Alan King of the Tri Force roads policing unit said: “Anyone with information about the collision or the identities of the drivers is requested to contact me by calling 101.”
