Two teenage boys arrested after car chase through Gorse Hill
TWO teenage boys were arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle after leading police on a pursuit through Gorse Hill this morning.
A green BMW failed to stop when requested by police in Ocotal Way at around 11.50am, so the police briefly gave chase and it stopped in Gypsy Lane.
An 18-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, driving without insurance and taking a vehicle without consent.
A 17-year-old boy from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking a vehicle without consent and a public order offence.
They are both currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
