A LONDONER accused of murdering former British Army officer Kenneth Kiley will stand trial next week.
Dario Carboni, 24, of Gospatrick Road, Tottenham, is alleged to have killed the 75-year-old Parachute Regiment veteran in a hit-and-run on Southernwood Drive, Swindon, on July 8.
He pleaded not guilty to murder on October 12. At an earlier court hearing on September 14, Carboni denied causing death by dangerous driving, but pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified.
The trial is expected to last two weeks and will begin at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, January 7.
