VICTIMS of a burglary have put out an appeal to help find a stolen Nissan truck.

Lora and Michael Corcoran went on holiday to Miami on December 28 only to discover on their first day that their family home on Stainswick Lane, Shrivenham, had been ransacked.

The thieves entered their home through a back door and stole Michael's black Nissan Navara 4x4 which was only seven weeks old. The license plate is BG18 UJV.

The two parents have two weeks left of the holiday with their children before they get back.

"It just ruins the whole trip, we're trying to make the best of it," said dad Michael.

"I've got four kids and my wife is devastated that some one has gone into the house."

Police said the vehicle was driving off in the direction of the High Street.

The thief is described as a white man, medium build and wearing a white t-shirt.

Anyone with information about the break-in at 9.30pm on December 28, can contact police by calling 101.
