A FRAUDSTER tried to withdraw cash from an ATM in Highworth by using a stolen credit card.
At around 4.38am on October 31 2018, a man got out of a small light-coloured hatchback vehicle at the Highworth petrol station on Swindon Road.
Police suspect that the car involved may be a Hyundai I10 or a similar model,
The suspect then tried to use the stolen credit card at the service station's cash point, failed, and quickly left the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the Halloween incident and have released CCTV images of the suspect using the card.
Anyone who recognises the person in the image and can help with the police's enquiries should call call 101 or private message the Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Police facebook page.
