2 Swindon Karting indoor 530m tarmac circuit offers drivers some of the most exhilarating bends and speed friendly straights in the country. Swindon Allotments and Leisure Gardens Association is holding its annual seed potato day with 60+ varieties of seed potato for sale by the single tuber, plus onion and shallot sets, planting garlic bulbs, a range of heritage seeds, fruit trees, soft fruit and much more. 9 Swindon’s ice rink, best known for its national-sized ice rink which houses an English Premier Ice Hockey League team, the Swindon Wildcats, is open tomorrow at the Link Centre, Whitehill Way, Swindon. Whether you are a beginner or pro, the Learn to Skate programme has ice skating lessons suitable for all ages and all abilities, associated with the nationally recognised National Ice Skating Association (NISA) programme. As an added bonus Learn to Skate pupils also get to skate for free on the evening public skating sessions to practice their new skills. Public ice skating sessions are for everyone whether you are a superstar in training or a beginner. For the smaller ones who may need extra support we have fun penguin skating aids or snowmen that can be their companion on the ice and help them find their feet.
