ENTRY is now open for this year's Mad March Hare in aid of Breast Cancer NOW.

The charity event is in its 12th year and has raised more than £100,000 so far.

The 5km and 10km routes start and end at Lydiard Park Academy on Sunday March 24.

Esther Newman, part of the Mad March Hare team, said: "We hope to make 2019 another successful year. The event is one of a kind, it appeals to all ranges and abilities and ages and we are very proud to be part of so many personal journeys as they take it on for charity.

"Without the support of the Swindon community we would not be in our 12th year and we want to thank each and every person who has ever taken part and we hope you will join us again this year to make it our best year yet."

A curry night and raffle will be held on February 4 at 7pm to start the fundraising efforts before the main event. The two-course buffet at Lalbagh Indian Cuisine on Rodbourne Road costs £15 per person.
