HALF a dozen men tried to break into a unit at a South Marston business park on Boxing Day.
Police have appealed for any information following the attempted burglary at the Oak Tree Business Centre on Spitfire Way, at around 12.20am.
The men were unable to get into the unit, but caused substantial damage to the shutters. The business had security measures fitted designed to deter burglars.
PC Connor Crespin said: “The damage was caused to a family-run business which has caused considerable financial inconvenience and frustration. We’re releasing a CCTV image of one of the men we would like to speak to in relation to this incident and would ask that anyone with information calls 101."
The man is described as white and wearing a black hat and puffer jacket.
Information can be reported to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
