A HOLE has opened in a Gorse Hill road, closing it to traffic.
Swindon Borough Council said Argyle Street, off Cricklade Road, would remain closed for much of the day.
If you live or are travelling in the area, please note that Argyle Street in Gorse Hill is currently closed while a hole in the road is being inspected.

The road is expected to be closed for most of the day.
The cause of the hole is not yet known.
