Mercedes dealer supports Wiltshire Air Ambulance

Rygor’s Charities of the Year initiative was set up back in 2015 to enable the company’s team members to nominate and vote to support charities which benefit some of the local communities which the company calls home. Over the past few years, Rygor has raised more than £35,000 for eight local charities and looks forward to adding to that total this year.

This year, the team will be fundraising for Hope for Tomorrow, Dorothy House Hospice Care and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Beth Gardner, fundraising manager at Wiltshire Air Ambulance, said: “We’re delighted that Rygor, with many branches near to us, has chosen its local air ambulance to support as one of their charities of the year. Business support from across Wiltshire plays a key role in keeping our air ambulance flying and saving lives, so to have a big national brand like Rygor backing us is fantastic.

"We look forward to working closely with the Rygor team on their fundraising efforts throughout 2019, which I’m sure will provide huge benefits for their staff and customers alike.”

Hope for Tomorrow is a dedicated charity, bringing cancer care closer to patients’ homes via Mobile Cancer Care Units. Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Dorothy House Hospice Care provides compassionate care and support for people in the community with a life-limiting illness, focusing on quality of life, so patients can live well and die well.
