FANCY taste-testing a brand new ice cream before it goes on sale?

Popular Old Town ice cream parlour Rays Ice Cream has teamed up with Helen Browning’s Chop House to concoct a new creation.

The master ice cream makers have used Helen Browning’s delicious organic milk and double cream to make the new flavour.

Before it gets added to the Wood Street restaurant’s menu, they’re inviting members of the public to do a free blind taste test to see who can taste the difference between the new organic ice cream and an ordinary ice cream.

Hadi Brooks from Rays Ice Cream said: “

Anyone who wants to give it a try can come along to the Chop House on Thursday February 7 between 3.30pm to 4pm.

There will be a colouring competition for kids, with a top prize of £10 Rays Ice Cream voucher for the best and most colourful creation.

Every child who enters the competition will get a voucher for a free ice cream at the Chop House.
