ON another chilly morning in Swindon, here's what to expect out on the roads.

There's queueing traffic due to an accident on the A419 Marlborough Road at M4 J15 (Swindon East). Congestion leads up to before the Commonhead interchange on the A419 and before Chiseldon on the A436.

Long queues of traffic on the A346 from Chiseldon to Junction 15 of the M4 has increased the travel time on the road to a whopping 19 minutes. The A419 southbound at the same junction will take six minutes to drive along.

Whitehill Way heading out of town is particularly busy between the Tewkesbury Cross and Blagrove roundabouts, with a travel time of nine minutes.

Traffic is also slow on Great Western Way at the Bruce Street roundabout - travel time is seven minutes.

Mead Way leading up to Great Western Way from the Meads roundabout is jammed with traffic - travel time is eight minutes.

The Moonrakers roundabouts are congested as usual, so all roads leading to them will take seven minutes to travel along.

Debris partially blocked the M4 westbound between Junctions 14 and 15, but it was removed just before 8pm and the motorway is now clear.

In icy conditions, it is advisable to leave a bigger gap than usual between your car and the car in front, avoid making any sharp acclerations or braking, and ensure that the windscreen and windows and mirrors are clear before setting off.
