HEAVY snow might mean homeless people don't get a cooked breakfast tomorrow morning.

The Big Breakfast, which has been providing a free cooked breakfast for the town's homeless population for 25 years, is struggling to find someone to cook tomorrow's breakfast.

The snow and sub-zero temperatures are already challenging for the homeless charity which is relied upon by up to 40 guests.

Trustee Rosemary Curtis wrote: "This means our service is even more critically important than usual.

"We are potentially short-staffed due to sickness as well as the weather. If there are any cooks out there who could help that could be wonderful.

"Worse case scenario is that we just serve cereal and toast but a warm cooked breakfast would set our guests up for the day. Please message me if you can help."

The early shift starts at 7am and finishes around 8am.
