The self titled German Comedy Ambassador in London, Henning Wehn, is a popular choice on a number of TV panel shows some of which turned out to be very revealing about his adventurous life.

He appeared in Would I Lie To You? in which he confessed that he and his friend were once arrested by border guards for illegally entering the Czech Republic in the mid-1990s. He also said that for three weeks in the mid-1990s he was listed as a missing person by Interpol.

The former customer relations worker moved from Germany to Britain to work in the marketing department of Wycombe Wanderers, in 2002. He saw an advertisement for an open mic and took to the stage as a stand-up comedian and never looked back. His love of football remained, so in 2014 Henning and fellow comedian Mark Watson, fronted a travelogue in Brazil called The Road to Rio, for TV station Dave. In the show, they explored the country's sporting culture, tying in with the 2014 World Cup held in the country.

The comic is currently touring the UK with his new show Get On With It and will be stopping off in Swindon on Friday, February 8 and Saturday February 9 for sell out shows.

The comedian is also a regular guest on Live At The Apollo, Fighting Talk (BBC Radio 5 Live) 8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You, Room 101, and QI.
