A community facility in Pinehurst will be given a revamp, after permission was granted by the Borough Council.
North Swindon Parish Council had applied to the larger authority to be able to change the use of Pinehurst Common Room - essentially a community hall - to incorporate offices.
The exterior of the building in The Circle won't change, but a dropped kerb, two parking spaces and a ramped path to the entrance form the kerb will also be created.
Inside one of the two kitchens will move from the rear of the hall to be replaced by a store room, and the existing kitchen near the entrance will be extended. The gents and ladies' loos will be changed into unisex lavatories, one with baby changing facilities and one an accessible loo.
The office space at the back of the hall will be moved to the front, meaning the useable hall space will actually be expanded.
