SPEEDING drivers were stopped by police after South Marston volunteers raised concerns.
Members of the village's Community Speed Watch told police about speeding cars outside the South Marston CE Primary School. The problem was more noticeable at school drop-off and pick-up times.
North Swindon Police posted on Facebook: "Officers from Swindon North Community Policing Team have been conducting speed enforcement on Old Vicarage Lane to support the work being conducted by the Community Speed Watch."
Four motorists were stopped by officers on Thursday and spoken to about their driving.
Police have recently conducted speed checks and visits at other schools around north Swindon.
