A SHOP owner was left frightened and facing a big repair bill after a yob lobbed a stone at his store window.
Police said a vandal had picked up the rock and thrown it at the window of the Premier Store on Brewery Place, Royal Wootton Bassett, shattering the glass.
“This has frightened the shop owner and now they are at a financial disadvantage of having to repair their window,” Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Police said.
Officers added: "Police are very keen to identify this individual responsible and deal with them accordingly."
The incident was said to have happened at around 7pm on Sunday, February 10.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or send a private message to Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Police’s Facebook page.
A video of the incident posted to social media has had more than 6,000 views. In comments beneath the video, Facebook users branded it a "cowardly attack".
