A FORUM for parents with SEND children will celebrate its first birthday next month.
Swindon SEND Families Voice was launched last year to represent parents in the provision of services to help better meet the needs of children and young people.
The forum arranges events and conducts and submits parent surveys to Swindon Borough Council and the Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group.
Its current survey asks parents how the Local Offer website for Swindon, which will provide information of local services before it launches in October, could be improved.
Its first birthday event will be at Hop, Skip & Jump in Swindon on March 4 from 10 -12 midday.
There will be a team of professionals on hand to give advice, including the director of nursing and transformation at the Swindon CCG, Gill May.
