THREE men are suspected of using fake £50 notes at a Swindon shopping park.
Police have released CCTV images of the trio they believe used the counterfeit cash at Greenbridge Retail Park.
The group attempted to use the notes at several shops on January 28.
There have been several reports recently of fake £50 notes circulating in the Swindon area.
Last week, police in Royal Wootton Bassett issued advice to shop owners after a number of attempts by shoppers to use the counterfeit currency.
Shop owners were told to keep hold of counterfeit notes, carefully observe the person who had used the cash and report the incident to police on 101.
"If the person starts to become aggressive or agitated in any way, call police on 999 immediately," officers said.
Anyone who recognises the three men in the CCTV images should call police on 101.
