A ONE-WOMAN show imagining what happened after the ending of Shakespeare's Macbeth will be performed at the Swindon Fringe Festival.

Wiltshire-born writer Jules Hobbs will star in the Third Witch From The Left at Artiste on April 11 from 7.30pm.

The show follows Meg, a witch who has moved on to a successful career as a cookery writer and astrologer but is haunted by a night that she can never forget.

To put her mind at ease, she time travels back to the Scottish heath where witches once made prophecies about Macbeth.

Jules Hobbs hopes that her 50-minute drama will make audiences laugh, groan and even cry. The idea for the show came from asking primary school children during one of the Shakespeare project weeks she hosts with her company Finding the Will what they thought happened after the end of the famous play.

Tickets cost £12 on the door or £10 from swindonfringefestival.com
