A BOY, 12, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a car earlier this morning.
The young cyclist was struck on Hill Rise, Chippenham, at around 9.40am.
He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: “The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries”.
