THIEVES drove through a pair of gates in a bid to steal a £10,000 farm vehicle.
Police have issued an appeal following the vehicle theft.
The Wiltshire force said the John Deere Gator green all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a farm in the Aldbourne area.
"We are appealing for information regarding its whereabouts," a spokesman said in a witness appeal posted on the Swindon South Police Facebook page.
The vehicle was stolen between 11pm on Saturday, March 16 and 5am on Sunday, March 17.
It was stolen from a garage in South Street , Aldbourne. The lock was broken and gates were driven through, causing damage.
The vehicle, which is believed to be worth approximately £10,000, has a black roll bar over the cab area and the two wing mirrors had been taken off.
