Two very different productions are on offer on Thursday, April 4, a drama based on a musical and a circus theatre show.

Legally Blonde, based on the novel and film, will be presented by performing arts students at The Phoenix Theatre, New College, Swindon, at 7.30pm.

It is the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrols at Harvard Law School, to win back her ex-boyfriend, Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, no one has faith in Elle Woods, but each time she manages to surprise them.

The second piece of theatre mixes both circus skills and dance in Isla. Rural Arts Bedwyn is presenting the D'Click Company's latest show, based on the dreams of three shipwrecked characters. They try to survive by creating unbelievable situations and bizarre strategies by performing acrobatics, dance, comedy and the Chinese pole.
