THREE friends are hosting a charity karaoke night tonight to raise money for a cancer research charity.
Lauren Henly, Kerenza Clements and Aimee Davenport-Banks hope the event will get their fundraising off to a good start before they all tackle the Race For Life Pretty Muddy 5k in May.
They're running for Cancer Research UK in memory of friends and loved ones they've lost to the illness. Lauren said: "We are doing this not just for the people we have lost, but for the people who need the help, the people who can’t run this race. A lot of people have been lost to cancer each year and just by sponsoring us we can help their treatment and help them have a better life. It will help the families and the friends of the people who are suffering."
The karaoke and raffle night is at the Steam Railway pub from 9pm. To donate, visit fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/kerenza-and-friends
