Riders can get free cycling sessions thanks to a new partnership.

Swindon Borough Council is linking up with British Cycling to offer free lessons.

There will be several sessions available for experienced riders as well as beginners.

Adult and family road cycle training courses will teach road positioning, signalling and journey planning. These take place on April 6 and June 29.

For beginners, adult learn to cycle sessions will be held on May 11 and July 13.

Courses are led by experienced instructors and they all start from the County Ground athletics track.

Every Friday from 10am to noon, anyone can turn up at the County Ground and borrow bikes, including trikes and hand bikes.
