A CHARITY ball will help raise money in support of breast cancer research.
The black-tie ball organised by Aurora Breast Cancer Wellbeing, a local charity raising money supporting young women with a cancer diagnosis, will include a three-course meal, live music, disco and a charity auction.
The Ball of Light is set to take place on July 12 at the DeVere Village Hotel, Shaw Ridge Leisure Park.
It is after three successful young women’s breast cancer seminars that the charity decided to organise a glamorous evening of music and dancing.
Aurora’s administration manager Rebecca Cotton said: “We had a launch party at Bardolino in Swindon last year and this will be our next big fundraising event to gain more support and donations.”
The charity provides opportunities for young women in Swindon to feel emotionally and physically supported throughout their journey. And it offers holistic and beauty treatments to give them self-confidence.
All proceeds will go to Aurora in order to help them provide the support needed.
Tickets cost £50. For details email aurorabcw@outlook.com
