Business Secretary Greg Clark has cancelled his visit to Swindon to chair the next meeting of the Honda task group at the last minute.

Mr Clark was due to come today to chair the meeting of councillors, business leaders and union representatives with a focus on both Honda and the car manufacturer's local supply chain - which also employs hundreds of people in the region.

The reason given for the cancellation is continuing negotiations between the Conservative government and and Prime Minister Theresa may with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn over ways to find a Brexit that will be supported by the House of Commons, with the UK due to leave the EU in just 10 days time.
