YOUTHS from Swindon are planning on joining in a nationwide day of action about climate change on Friday.
The Youth Strike 4 Climate movement is holding a second walkout after a global protest last month.
School children from Africa to New Zealand were joined by university students on March 15 for the one of the first worldwide environmental protests of its kind.
Schools across the UK will hit the streets again on April 12, ahead of another global effort on May 24.
A spokesperson XRSN1 Youths, short for the other civil disobedience group Extinction Rebellion, which has created the event in Swindon, wrote: "Rebel youths it’s time to reunite for our next climate strike!
"Please take an hour of your Friday to join us outside the Swindon Borough Council offices on Euclid street!"
The event's Facebook page says it will take place from 12 until 1pm on Friday outside the council's main office.
