A supermarket with three stores in Swindon is giving Game of Thrones fans an Easter treat.

Morrisons is bringing back a limited edition ‘dragon egg’ - which stands at 20cm-high - ‘by popular demand’.

And it has been driven largely by the popularity of the Sky series Game of Thrones, which returns for its highly anticipated eighth and final season on Sunday.

The ‘monstrous’ egg is made from Belgian milk chocolate and finished with a dusting of ruby red and gold lustre.

It is part of the supermarket’s The Best range.

The Dragon Eggs can be found in all or Morrisons 494 stores nationwide and costs £6.

Liv Evison, Easter Egg Buyer at Morrisons, said: “We’re bringing back our popular Dragon Egg to make fantasy a reality for our customers this Easter!”
