A TEENAGER has been charged with burglary after mobile phones were taken from a Swindon technology store.

Aaron Penfold, 19, of Radnor Street, Old Town, has been charged with burglary as well as theft of a bike.

The incident relates to an alleged burglary from town centre phone shop the Mobile Tech Centre, Regent Street, late on April 9.

Penfold is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates' Court on May 15 to answer the charges.

Officers investigating the incident have also arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of burglary.

He has since been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.

A 40-year-old man from Swindon has also been arrested in connection with the incident and has been given a formal adult caution for aiding and abetting burglary with intent to steal.

Officers have asked anyone who witnessed the alleged burglary at Mobile Tech Centre should call Wiltshire Police on 101.
