A FAIRER more inclusive workplace is the aim of a new networking group starting next month.
The Swindon Inclusion and Diversity Network is a free member only network aimed at business leaders, HR directors and equality and inclusion professionals.
And it is holding its first event to share knowledge of best practice.
Speakers include Emma Feltham, head of IT and Customer Service at the National Trust, Nicole Hardiman, digital IT practice manager at Nationwide, and Claire Farrow inclusion and diversity client partner at Outsource UK.
Claire said: "To adopt truly inclusive recruitment practices it is necessary to support everyone in their career search since the aim of inclusive recruitment shouldn’t be to target one single group, but to ensure that the best talent is presented for every role, by increasing the candidate pool and reaching out to everyone."
The network will meet once a month to offer support, share new ideas, and inspire each other to take action.
The event will be at Nationwide's office on Piper's Way on May 29 from 6.30pm until 9pm.
To attend contact Claire Farrow at cfarrow@outsource-uk.co.uk.
