Jonathon Seed has been selected to stand as the Conservative candidate in the Police & Crime Commissioner election in 2020.

Jonathon said: "I have been a vocal supporter of Wiltshire Police since being elected as a Wiltshire councillor 12 years ago. As a member of the Police and Crime Panel, I have been campaigning for more frontline officers and improved visibility of policing, especially in rural areas of the county.

"Whilst there may be disquiet about the state of politics nationally, I was incredibly pleased, but not surprised, that so many Conservative members turned out to take part in the Hustings to select the right candidate to fight the PCC election. Local politics in Wiltshire and Swindon is buoyant and members of the Conservative Party know that despite what is going on in Westminster it is important that we continue to oversee the successful running of local services in our councils and our police force.”
