A MAN who found himself in the dock over a “random incident” of harassment will be tried later this year.
Jamie Pritchard, 26, of Groundwell Road, pleaded not guilty to a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The charge related to an incident on Thursday, April 11, when Pritchard is alleged to have “side stepped” a woman in Swindon. The incident was said to have been random.
Magistrates bailed Pritchard, who appeared in the dock of Court Three on Saturday morning dressed in a baggy hooded top emblazoned with the stars and stripes of the United States flag.
Pritchard is due to stand trial at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 22.
