GORSE Hill Baptist Church is changing its Easter celebrations this year.
Gone is the walk around Gorse Hill on Good Friday, as has been traditional in previous years.
However, the church will be running a treasure hunt around Cricklade Road.
Letters have been printed on Easter egg flyers and stuck in shop windows around Gorse Hill.
Children can get an entry form from the Gorse Hill Baptist Church in the morning or email pastor@ghbc.org.uk to have one sent to them. Using the form, they can note down the letters and see if they can spell out the special Easter-inspired word.
The church said: "Completed entry forms can be brought to the church on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Everyone will receive a prize. If you’re under 16, the first 20 correct entries will receive one of the 'star' prizes (something you usually connect with Easter morning)."
There will be services at 10.45am and 5pm on Easter Sunday. The church will also be open on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 2pm, for teas, coffees and family activities.
