THE world of musicals was brought to life in the village of Christian Malford last month with a scarecrow trail.
Created to raise money for local charities the trail featured scarecrows depicting characters from musical theatre ranging from Shrek to Mary Poppins.
It took place over the weekend of March 30-31, with a map of the trail around the village costing £3. More money was raised with refreshments served at the school while there was also beer tent, bouncy castle, games and face painting along with a raffle.
