Man, 24, arrested for drugs possession as police race to Chiseldon
POLICE raced to Chiseldon this evening, following reports of a man in "suspicious circumstances" smelling strongly of cannabis.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: "We arrested a man at the Esso service station in Chiseldon this evening at approximately 7.20pm following a report from the public that the vehicle had been seen in suspicious circumstances and smelt strongly of cannabis.
"A 24-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and has been taken to custody at Gablecross where he remains for questioning."
