A SCREENING of films by Business West will diagnose unhappy workers next month.

The Swindon and Wiltshire Initiative by Business West is welcoming the founders of the The Sound Doctor to encourage better management practices.

Co-founders Dominic Arkwright and Rosie Runciman, who both have had long careers at the BBC, will explore the biggest employee health issues in the workplace and the most effective interventions through a series of short films.

Since 2012 the company has produced a library of more than 300 films covering diabetes, COPD, dementia and cardiovascular disease.

Its own research found that 60 per cent of companies took measures to look after their employee’s health and wellbeing, but just under half of all companies had done nothing about it in the last 12 months.

The films shown on the night, will feature patients, families and carers, is co-produced with relevant leading charities.

The workshop will take place at Park House, on Church Place in Swindon, Thursday May 9, from 10am - 12.
