FAMILIES looking to get creative over the Easter holidays can enjoy arty events in the town centre today and tomorrow

Craft activities, storytime sessions, a book giveaway, a quilling workshop and live music will be on offer at the Creative Swindon Network's arts event.

The National Literacy Trust's local hub Swindon Stories, Swindon Libraries and local artists all teamed up to organise the event as part of the new Creative Swindon Network.

Hannah Parry from the network said: "We're holding this event to find out how Swindon people engage with arts and creativity, what they'd like to see taking place in Swindon in terms of arts activities and how they'd like to develop themselves creatively."

The Swindon Libraries' library bike will be there to support the sessions and promote their services.

Fill out a survey and be in with the chance of winning a £25 voucher donated by the Brunel shopping centre.

The Creative Swindon Network will officially launch at the Swindon Spring Festival of the Arts next month.

The event will be held at the Brunel Shopping Centre today and tomorrow from 11am to 2pm.
