BEER lovers have enjoyed fine weather at the sixth Glue Pot beer festival.

Landlord Jonathan Crisp at the Railway Village pub said more than 850 pints had been sold on the first evening.

While the beers were a draw for many drinkers, the sun helped tease festival-goers to the pub: “The beer festival has always been popular, but the weather’s made it extra special.”

On tap at the festival are 21 real ales and 12 traditional ciders. It runs until Monday, April 22.
